Sports Cardiology UK has clinics in Bristol, Bath and London. We offer both face-to-face and online consultations in Bristol and Bath, as well as virtual clinics and in-person testing at the National Heart Clinic in London. We also provide an onsite screening service for sports clubs.

Our Clinics

Sports Cardiology UK holds both face-to-face and online appointments in our Bristol and Bath clinics.

Only online appointments with our expert cardiologists are available in London, but all testing is done in-clinic at the state-of-the-art facilities on Harley Street.

All clinics include comprehensive cardiac assessment unit including echocardiography, electrocardiography (ECG), exercise stress testing and ambulatory ECG monitoring.

Mobile Service for Clubs

Sports Cardiology UK offers a mobile screening and assessment service for professional sports clubs and associations.

We provide comprehensive sports cardiology evaluations in line with national guidelines, following the protocols for competitive athletes as set out by the European Society of Cardiology Sports Cardiology Committee. Our approach also incorporates the Football Association’s cardiology screening policy.

All investigations are overseen by a fully trained Consultant Cardiologist with additional expertise in Sports Medicine, ensuring high-quality assessment and immediate access to results.

There is evidence suggesting that certain cardiac arrhythmias, such as atrial fibrillation, occur more frequently among athletes. Regular intensive training can also sometimes reveal or exacerbate subtle underlying cardiac abnormalities.
